Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, violists Kasey Calebaugh, Caty Dalton, and Jake Pietroniro had a dream of creating a haven for fellow musicians to make music together and share it others. This shared dream became Bach at the Rock, a week-long festival at Rock Island, Tennessee that provides and unique opportunity for string players to be mentored by world class chamber musicians while learning how to connect with audiences and become responsive artists for their local communities.

Now in its third season, Bach at the Rock has hosted dozens of elite participants to date while continuing to build connections with the Rock Island community, allowing for its artistic vision to grow. Our continued goal of hosting 16 rising artists each summer can be realized with your support. A generous gift will help us reach our goal of offering scholarships ($1,000) while also providing funding for housing, food, venue fees, outreach costs, and a faculty of renowned artists.

Bach at the Rock is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Bach at the Rock must be made payable to “Fractured Atlas” only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
